Edward Jones has an opening for a Transitional Financial Advisor to maintain relationships with clients when former financial advisors (FAs) are unable to meet that obligation. This position requires flexibility, reliability and travel to work in open offices.
Key responsibilities:
- Preserve and restore customer relationships when a former FA is unable to meet those obligations.
- Provide excellent client service and suitable investment advice during the transition period.
- Provide initial contact and ongoing guidance and service to the clients.
- Research and resolve any service issues or unfinished tasks.
- Work in partnership with the BOA(s) to ensure a high level of customer service.
- Keep the department apprised of any Compliance/ Field Supervision concerns.
Skills/Requirements
Series 7 and 66 Licenses Required.
Insurance licenses: life health and variable annuity strongly preferred.
Professional designations strongly preferred:
Some travel: five to six times per year, roughly one week per trip
